Laurel armchair and dining little armchair designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri draw inspiration from Mid-Century forms and stylistic elements to create a unique and timeless design.

The shell of the seats – available in wood or upholstered in leather – accommodates the seat and back cushions, tailored with stitching, and rises upward to support the soft cushioning of the armrests.

The back of the armchair, with its strong personality, is enriched with a fabric or leather band, resembling a martingale, at two precious metal studs on the sides of the shell, also present in the dining little armchair version.

Structure

Seat shell available in:
— palisander Santos* , stained Dark Brown, matt polyester lacquer finish;
— Canaletto walnut stained Light Brown, matt polyester lacquer finish;
— brushed ash, open-pore Licorice colour lacquer finish;
— beech, upholstered in Aspen, Big Sur or Carmel (Nature Leather category) leather.
Shell made of curved plywood, with subsequent finishing process crafted on CNC machines. Padded backrest with metal insert coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam and seat in variable-density polyurethane foam. Backrest and seat encased in breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for added softness. Non-slip fabric applied to the back of the seat cushion upholstery ensures its adherence to the structure. Armrests made with bent aluminium sheet coated in integral skin polyurethane foam, then encased in breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for added softness. Rear band, crafted with the same technique used to clad the base of the Connery seating system, with double polyurethane foam insert to ensure greater softness. Band clad to match the fabric or leather specified for the backrest when the armchair shell is made of wood. When the shell upholstery is in leather, the band will always be crafted in the same leather and colour as the shell — Aspen, Big Sur or Carmel (Nature Leather category) leather; the cushions can be upholstered in leather of a different type than the shell upholstery. The rear band is not present on the DINING little armchair. A decorative metal screw in the same finish as the base is located on the shell, near the backrest. Tailoring of the slipcover features soft top-stitching.

* palisander Santos comes from properly managed forests.

Covers

Upholstery for armrests, seat and backrest cushions is completely removable in both the fabric and leather versions. Unscrew the armrests from the structure to remove the upholstery. The upholstery on the leather-clad shell is not removable.

Base ARMCHAIR/FOOTSTOOL

Mechanism and spokes in metal varnished Black Coffee colour with glossy anti-fingerprint finish or polished chrome finish. The armchair base has a 360° swivel with return. Fixed footstool. Protective PVC glides.

Legs DINING LITTLE ARMCHAIR

In tubular metal with variable circular section, varnished Black Coffee colour with glossy anti-fingerprint finish or Black chrome finish. Black protective felt and/or polyethylene glides.
