The apparent formal simplicity of Darren and its rational, accurate design conceal a piece that is far more complicated and intricately structured than meets the eye. The central element in Moka-coloured ash wood features a shelf closed in on three sides, lined with Malt-coloured satin finish aluminium strips, and stands on a base in the same finish.
The glossy Clay-, Sand- and Corten-coloured painted doors are opened with a handle in metal to match the top of the unit, fashioned out of the strip used to finishes their top edge.

Darren comes in a range of different sizes, with items for a variety of uses that make up a vast line, from dining room units to living room cabinets, from chests of drawers to bedside tables.

Structure

Interior and exterior in MDF with ash veneer, open pore Moka colour lacquer finish.

Drawers/Drop-front door

in MDF, front exterior in glossy lacquer Clay, Sand or Corten colour finish; interior finish is the same as the structure. Only the interior drawers have front in satin finish metal, varnished Malt colour. Upper drawers and flap door with handle incorporated in the profile, made of satined metal, varnished Malt colour. The DINING/LIVING/BAR/NIGHT sideboards have drawers that glide on full-extension runners with Blumotion closure. All DINING sideboards are accessorized with a cutlery tray in saddle-hide Moka colour, with exception of the sideboard cm 186×56 H66 with 3 drawers. The 186/240/277×56 H54,5 cm LIVING/TV cabinets with feet H 13 (Legs version), have an opening for electric cables. The BAR cabinet has 3 drawers that glide on full-extension runners with Blumotion closure, a shelf in Bronzed tempered glass, 10 mm thick, located inside the drop-front door, and a cutlery tray in Moka colour saddle-hide located inside one of the two interior drawers. The 90x56xh120 cm vertical DINING cabinet has two drawers that glide on full-extension runners with Blumotion closure. Inside the drop-front door compartment there is a 10 mm thick contoured transparent extra-clear tempered glass, a Smoked-Grey glass mirror on the back wall and a motion sensor activated LED light bar located in the upper shelf, (rechargeable batteries). There is a Moka colour saddle-hide cutlery tray inside the drawer.

Base

FLOOR BASE: in MDF, clad in satin finish metal, varnished Malt colour. Flush-set adjustable feet. LEGS VERSION: in 50×25 H13/23 mm structural tubular metal frame varnished Malt colour with 30 mm ? conical metal feet varnished in the same finish. ABS glides.
