A small table armchair with a strong presence in the lunchroom. Nice, designed by GamFratesi, exhibits a compact volume, with an organic and enveloping shape. The designer seat consists of the two cases of the backrest and the shell that flex and overlap like two folded sheets, ensuring comfort and support for the body. As they overlap, the two elements create a void in the rear part of the backrest which becomes a recognisable sign. The intimate welcome offered by Nice is emphasized by the sensual softness of the upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. Both can also be combined with the saddle-leather provided on the external part of the backrest; upholstery whose tailored stitching, masterfully performed by Poltrona Frau’s artisans, emphasizes the external profile in a strong silhouette.
The table chair is the result of complex technical solutions, which give quality and solidity to the project, and harmonious proportions, such as between the shell and the four-legged metal or solid ash wood base, which slimly fit under the seat, visually lightening the seating.
